EXCHANGES or RETURNS



WHICH PRODUCT/S MAY BE EXCHANGED or RETURNED

We allow Exchanges or Returns of “qualifying” products.

“Qualifying” product:

A product that:
– is in its original packaging
– is in a perfect, unused condition
– still has the special “hygiene” security seal attached
– is not a Custom order
– has not been:
 * Fitted/Attached/Installed (due to hygiene reasons it can not be exchanged or returned)
*  Cut
*  Washed … Shampoo/Conditioner
*  Chemically altered … Coloured, Brazilian, Permed, Keratin, Protein, Botox, etc.
*  Styled … Blowdry, Flat iron, Curling tongs, etc.

It is of utmost importance that you and your Client/Stylist inspect the hair products upon receipt thereof and notify us, see below notice period, in writing (email) should the product/s not be in accordance with your Order:
– Quantity
– Length
– Colour
– Hair pattern
– Quality related aspects (texture, dry, brittle, breaking, shedding, ends/seams/ bondings/attachments, etc.)
Once the hair product/s has/have been Fitted/Attached/Installed we deem it to have been thoroughly inspected and “approved” and it can not be exchanged or returned.


HOW TO EXCHANGE or RETURN THE PRODUCT/S

– You must contact us by email (info@uniquetrends.co.za) within 7 days of the delivery date of your Order requesting the Exchange or Return
– In your email (see above) you need to provide the reason/s for wanting to exchange or return the product/s
– You will be responsible for all the shipping cost of exchanging or returning the product/s to us.
– We do not refund the original shipping fees of the hair product/s.
– We charge a 20% “handling” fee, based on the original sales value of the product/s, to process any return (not applicable to exchanges).
– We need to receive the product/s back within 30 days of the original delivery date.
– Once we have received the product/s we will do a thorough inspection thereof to verify that the product/s is/are a “Qualifying” product.
– We will notify you, by email, within 7 days of having received the hair product/s of the outcome of our Inspection.
– Should we find, upon inspection, that the product/s IS a “Qualifying” product, the exchange or return will be approved. Your exchange or return/refund will be processed within 21 days of us having informed you of the outcome of our Inspection.
– Should we find, upon inspection, that the product/s IS NOT a “Qualifying” product, the exchange or return/refund will unfortunately not be approved. The product/s will be returned to the client.


CUSTOM ORDERS
– Ombré and Balayage colours or a product that has been made according to the client’s specifications.
– No Exchanges or Returns will be allowed for custom orders until we have found another buyer for the hair product/s.

INSTALLATIONS
We advise clients to only make use of the services of a “Licensed” Unique Trends Stylist/Salon.  Applying the correct Installation/Removal technique/s, for our products, is crucial as incorrect Installation/Removal technique/s may cause the hair product/s to shed or tangle/matt.

AFTERCARE PRODUCTS
We advise clients to only make use of our PerfecTress® “Daily Shampoo” and PerfecTress® “Daily Conditioner” as other hair products may cause
– the hair product/s to dry out and tangle/matt
– the bondings/tape adhesive section/seam to dissolve/deteriorate which may cause the hair product/s to shed
